Big Data and Hadoop Championship

- Divya Bhosale has participated in the zonal round of Big Data and Hadoop Championship which was held at VPKBIET, Baramati. She is from Information Technology Department. In the zonal round she secured the first position. She was selected for the final round of Apps Fluxus 2016 National Big Data and Hadoop Champi-onship which was held at IIT Roorkee. She received the Certificate of Honour and a Trophy at the National Level.

She attended IASc-INSA-NASI Summer Research Fellowship at Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology, Hyderabad. She worked on "Botnet Detection Tools and Techniques: A Review" under the guidance of Dr. B. M. Mehtre, Center of Cyber Security, IDRBT, Hyderabad. The duration of this fellowship was 15 April to 10 June 2016.

They attended a One-Week Short-Term Training Program on Algorithms in Engineering at IIT Guwahati during 15 to 19 February 2016.       The inception of Information Technology Engineering Students' association came from the concept that the students themselves should be able to come up with the ideas and organize the activities which would be beneficial to them. Information Technology Students' Association is a students' organization at department level in VPKBIET, Baramati. It is entirely managed by the students under the staff's guidance. It is responsible for arranging all the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in the department.
