Brief Profile :
Mr. Sachin Bhosle is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and recipient of faculty development program at VPKBIET. He has been deputed to Michigan Technological University, USA. This program offers three years full time deputation for earning Ph.D. degree to teacher-scholars who exemplify the outstanding integration of teaching, research and administration.

Sachin's research focuses on synthesis, biochemical analysis and electron microscopy of bio-nanomaterials for orthopedic applications. He is particularly interested in synthesis of nanostructured bone/dental implant surfaces with enhanced biocompatibility, antimicrobial benefits, and drug delivery. He also investigates bio/nano interface interactions for enhanced osseointegration and cell proliferation using smart bio-nanomaterials with widespread applications in orthopaedics and dental research at the Multi Scale Technologies Institute at Michigan Technological University, Hough, USA.

The technology developed is under process for a legal agreement between Nanovation Partners LLC and MichiganTech.
